Get off at or Küçükbakkalköy stops — located directly at or a short walk from the campus entrance.

Access by Metro

M8 — Bostancı–Dudullu–Parseller
Alight at Küçükbakkalköy Station and use Exit 2 (University) — brings you directly to the campus front entrance.
M4 — Kadıköy–Sabiha Gökçen Airport
Alight at Kozyatağı Station, take the Hal exit and walk along Kayışdağı Street (approx. 15 min), or take a short taxi to campus.

Most convenient for delegates arriving from both sides of Istanbul — direct Marmaray and metro line integrations available.

General

ROYMUN is open to high-school and university students, advisors, and observers. Delegates of every experience level are welcome — committees are calibrated across beginner, intermediate, and advanced tiers so that you may take your seat in the chamber that best suits you.

All committee proceedings, position papers, and resolutions are conducted entirely in English. A working command of written and spoken English is expected of every delegate.

ROYMUN 2026 convenes venue on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. Detailed venue and accommodation guidance will be circulated to registered delegates ahead of the conference.

Academic

Yes. Position papers are required for all delegates and must be submitted in advance of the conference. Submission requirements and a formatting guide will be sent to confirmed delegates by the academic team.

Each committee presents Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Honourable Mention awards, alongside conference-wide recognitions for diplomacy and contribution. Awards are determined by the committee's chairs and academic team.

Logistics

Western business attire is required throughout the conference. Delegates are expected to present themselves with the formality befitting an international assembly.

Accommodation is not included in registration. We provide hotel guidance and a list of recommended properties near the campus for out-of-city delegates ahead of the conference.
